The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi 9 have now apparently moved to internal testing. (Image source: Xiaomi – edited)Another unofficial Xiaomi Android 11 update list has appeared on Telegram with a few changes worth noting. Both the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi 9 have been promoted to apparent internal testing, while it appears no smartphones that were operating on MIUI 9 at launch time will receive Android 11 from Xiaomi.
A new list from the provider of the unofficial Xiaomi Android 11 update list has been posted, with the poster claiming “the chances of this list being correct are 99%”. There are some changes since we last reported about the lists frequently shared by @erdilS on Telegram, and there is a note stating that the list is not officially approved by Xiaomi. A “released devices” column has been added that shows the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro (Poco F2 Pro) already running on Android 11.
There is an interesting change in the “devices won’t get Android 11” section, with it now bluntly stating that no Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco smartphone that was originally launched with MIUI 9 will get updated. The “confirmed devices” column has also considerably changed, as Xiaomi has seemingly plowed on with testing. Big names such as the Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi 9 series have now shifted to the internal testing stage, leaving just a handful of smartphones waiting to be picked up.
Lastly, there are some devices that have moved from preparing to open the beta stage to actually being in that phase, which includes the Mi 10 Youth/Lite Zoom and Redmi K30 5G/Racing Edition. Regardless of the accuracy of this list, there are still options for owners of smartphones like the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T who can get a taste of Android 11 thanks to the availability of custom ROMs.
