Celta Vigo boss Oscar Garcia has been talking about the prospect of taking on Barcelona in La Liga on Thursday night.
The hosts have a strong record against Barcelona at Balaidos and are unbeaten in their last five home league meetings with the Catalan giants.
The two teams played out a 2-2 draw the last time they met in June, but Garcia played down the importance of past results in his pre-match press conference.
“We know that the game is going to require a lot of concentration and above all a lot of personality. We play against a very difficult opponent who is going to fight for all the titles and have a lot of danger.
“Each game is a story that has yet to be written and what happened before is of little use. They have another coach, a new scheme with double pivot and we both have new players and others who have left.
“You can play a tactically perfect game and in an oversight or a genius they can decide the game for you. Any player who comes off the bench at Barcelona can change the match. They have a very good squad.”
Celta have started the season with two draws and a win. Their only victory came in a 2-1 victory over Valencia at Balaidos with Iago Aspas scoring twice.
