Entertainment Parents-to-be Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli thank PM Narendra Modi for his ‘lovely’ wish

Entertainment After Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as they are expecting their first baby in January 2021, the actress has now replied to his sweet message.

PM Modi had replied to Virat’s birthday wish for him on Twitter. He wrote, “Thank you @imVkohli! I would also like to congratulate @AnushkaSharma and you. I am sure you will be amazing parents!”

Anushka also took to her Twitter handle and acknowledged PM Modi’s message. She tweeted, “Thank you sir for your lovely wish! Hope you had a great birthday! Wishing you good health always.” Even Virat thanked PM Modi for his lovely wishes. Have a look:

The couple tied the knot in December 2017 in Italy. Later, they had organized their wedding receptions in Mumbai and Delhi. PM Modi had graced their reception in Delhi and blessed the couple.
Meanwhile, Virat and Anushka made the pregnancy announcement on social media last month and took the internet by storm. They posted a picture where Anushka was seen showing off her baby bump. Their post read, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021 ❤️🙏”
Recently, Anushka had shared a cute picture of herself on Instagram where she was seen showing off her baby bump. In her post, she said that nothing is more real and humbling than experiencing the creation of life in you. She wrote, “Nothing is more real and humbling than experiencing creation of life in you. When this is not in your control then really what is?”
